IRO office with collaboration of US Consulate General in Erbil organized a seminar under the title “U.S. Law School Process and Ways to Use a Law Degree in the United States” for Law faculty students of Tishk International University on November 14, 2017 .
At first, Dr. Mustafa Rasheed, IRO Representative of Law Faculty, welcomed the guests and participants.Then, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş, IRO director, made a speech about the collaboration between Tishk International University and partner universities in USA, and encouraged students to join “Student Exchange Program” of Tishk International University.
Lastly, Mr. Jonas Gill, General Service Officer, US Consulate General in Erbil has been invited to give a speech to the audiences. Beginnings of his speech, he thanked Dr. Öztaş and Tishk International University for the invitation, and then he talked extensively about studying Law School in USA Universities, according to the experience that he achieved during his study life in Law School.
At the end, he answered the participants various questions.
Staff and Students of Law faculty have expressed their positive feelings and mentioned that these kind of events are very beneficial for their career.
