A senior delegation (Dr. Abdul Samad Salahuddin Ahmad, the president of TIU and Dr. Jaafer Hussein, the Director of International Relations) from Tishk International University is visiting Jordan from October 24th to 28th, 2022. They are participating in 1st Int. Conf. for Science and Pharmacy” to be held at Mu’tah University between October 26 – 28th, 2022.
Part of the delegation’s hectic schedule in Jordan, and with the aim of expanding and building the academic and scientific relations, the delegation visited the Philadelphia University on October 25th 2022. They have been received by the President of the University Prof. Dr. Mutaz A. Sheikh Saleem.
With the presence of Dr. Jaafer Hussein, the Director of International Relations/ TIU, the vice president Prof. Dr. Khaled S. Sartawi and the related Deans of the Philadelphia university including (Dr. Kasim Alobidi/ the Dean of IT, Dr. Yazan Batainah/ the Dean of Pharmacy, Dr. Fadwa Alhalaiqa/ the Dean of Allied Medical Sciences, Dr. Marwan Abo Halawah/the Head of Genetic Department, and Dr. Mohammad Shomali/ at the Faculty of Pharmacy) , both presidents met and the academic and scientific relations between both universities; and the mechanism of strengthening ties in the fields of scientific cooperation through developing curriculum, joint scientific research, organizing academic activities, and implementing staff and student exchange programs are discussed.
It is worth mentioning that the Philadelphia University is one of the Tishk International University’s closer partner visiting TIU campus and participating through its representatives in opening the Virtual Court Ceremony at Faculty of Law/ TIU in Erbil in February 2020 and signing an MoU between both Faculties of Nursing at both Universities.
