The Hashemite University and University of Mosul visited Tishk International University
Tishk International University (TIU) is represented by Prof. Dr. Abdul Samad Salahuddin Ahmad, the president of TIU, Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, vice president for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Faiq Hama Saeed Hussain, the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science, and Dr. Jaafer Hussein, Director of International Relations Office meets the the Hashemite University/ Jordan represented by Prof. Dr. Fawwaz M. Al- Abed Al- Haq, the president of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdelbaset. M. M. AL-Zyoud, the Vice President for Humanity Colleges, and Prof. Dr.Abedalbasit Mobarak Orsan ALshorman, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science accompained by Prof. Dr. Nadhim Shaker Al-Wattar, representing the University of Mosul on January 1st 2023 at 11:00 AM at TIU campus in Erbil.
In the meeting, the key officials at both universities present their university, and major achievements in terms of both quantity and quality to each other. The mechanism of the MoU implementation and different areas of collaboration are also discussed.
The guest delegation has been guided to the university faculties, departments, laboratories in general and the faculty of the dentistry and its facilities in particular. both parties confirmed the importance of having opportunities for further mutual approaches to promote academic, cultural, and scientific collaboration in the future.
It is worth mentioning that the a senior delegation (Dr. Abdul Samad Salahuddin Ahmad, the president of TIU and Dr. Jaafer Hussein, the Director of International Relations) from Tishk International University visited the Hashemite University on October 27th 2022. They were received by the president of the university Prof. Dr. Fawwaz M. Al- Abed Al- Haq and signed an MoU between both universities.
The Hashemite University often abbreviated HU, is a public university in Jordan. It was established in 1995. The university is located in the vicinity of the city of Zarqa. As regards to the study systems, it applies the credit hour system. Each college has its own number of credit hours. It is the first university in Jordan to apply the Two-Summer-Semester system The Hashemite University offers a variety of different master programs. It also offers an international admission program which allows non-Jordanian students to enroll at the university.
