Tishk International University and Alfa University College Hold Virtual Meeting to Explore Collaborative Opportunities
On December 18, 2024, Tishk International University (TIU), represented by President Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, and Alfa University College, represented by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurliza Haslin Binti Muslim, held a productive virtual meeting to discuss potential areas of collaboration. The meeting took place at 10:00 AM and was attended by key officials from both institutions including Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Academic Vice President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wasfi Kahwachi, Director of the Research Center and Dr. Jaafer Hussein, Director of the International Relations Office from TIU, while Prof. Madya Dr. Aszlan Bin Selamat, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Severo Alon Ochoa, Director of International Collaboration and Jasim Nadheer Hussein, International Education Advisor from (AUC).
ALFA University College, abbreviated as AUC, is a private, international college located in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The college currently offers certificate and diploma programs in design, education, and business.
Throughout the meeting, both universities presented comprehensive overviews of their academic programs, research initiatives, and institutional goals. The discussions focused on identifying mutually beneficial areas for future cooperation. As a result, both institutions agreed to formalize their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which will serve as a framework for future collaboration and help chart the path forward for joint academic and research endeavors.
