TIU and AUC Strengthen Ties with MoU Signing
Tishk International University (TIU) and Alfa University College (AUC) held an important virtual meeting on February 25, 2024, aimed at strengthening academic and institutional collaboration. The meeting, which began at 10:00 AM Iraqi Time, brought together distinguished representatives from both universities.
Representing TIU were Prof. Dr. Sutlan T. Abu-Orabi, the university president; Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, the academic vice president; Mr. Karwan Sherwani, acting dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Jaafer Hussein, director of the International Relations Office.
From AUC, participants included Prof. Dr. Nurliza Haslin Binti Muslim, vice chancellor; Prof. Madya Dr. Aszlan Bin Selamat, deputy vice chancellor; Severo Alon Ochoa, director of International Collaboration; and Jasim Nadheer Hussein, international education advisor.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to present detailed overviews of their academic programs, research initiatives, and institutional strengths. The meeting led to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) formalizing their partnership and establishes a framework for future joint initiatives.
