TIU Delegation Strengthens Academic Ties with Sousse University at SSD’25
On the sidelines of the 22nd International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals, and Devices (SSD’25), a high-level delegation from Tishk International University (TIU) visited Sousse University in Tunisia to further strengthen academic collaboration.
The delegation included Asst. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu-Orabi, President of TIU. They were warmly received by Prof. Dr. Lotfi Belkacem, President of Sousse University.
During the meeting, TIU representatives provided an overview of the university, highlighting its various colleges, academic programs, and recent scientific advancements. In turn, Prof. Dr. Lotfi Belkacem presented an overview of Sousse University, sharing insights into its academic framework and research initiatives.
Following the discussions, the TIU delegation toured Sousse University’s laboratories and scientific centers, gaining firsthand insight into the institution’s research capabilities. The visit concluded with an exchange of university logos, symbolizing the commitment to ongoing collaboration.
It is worth noting that TIU and Sousse University share a strong academic and scientific partnership. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions has already been established and will be further activated through relevant colleges.
The visit was also attended by Prof. Dr. Abdulqadir Naqshabandi, President of Lebanese French University, reinforcing the collaborative spirit among regional and international academic institutions.
