Tishk International University (TIU) is pleased to announce that Dr. Jaafer Hussein, the Director of the International Relations Office (IRO), recently delivered a series of lectures at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia, Bulgaria. His lectures, titled “Modern History and Politics of the Middle East,” were presented to students from the Departments of Political Science, International Relations, and European Studies, engaging learners at different stages of their academic journey—both in separate sessions and combined discussions.
The topic generated strong interest among students and faculty alike, sparking lively discussions and insightful exchanges. The sessions provided an excellent platform for participants to deepen their understanding of the Middle East’s political dynamics within a broader historical and geopolitical context.
