TIU Leaders Join Prestigious Arab Universities Conference in Kuwait
Tishk International University (TIU) is proud to announce the participation of Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of TIU, in the 57th General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities (AARU), held on April 23–24, 2025, at the International University of Kuwait (IUK), in Kuwait.
Held under the theme “Arab Higher Education in Light of Digital Transformation and Enhancing Regional Integration,” this distinguished event brought together over 250 Arab university presidents and ministers of education to collaboratively shape the future of education in the digital era.
At the margin of the conference, TIU, represented by Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, and IUK, represented by Prof. Dr. Barakat A. AL-Hudaiban, Chairman of the Board, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). During this important meeting, they discussed the key items of the MoU, with a particular focus on student exchange programs and research collaboration activities, reinforcing the shared vision of expanding academic cooperation between the two institutions.
TIU’s active engagement in the conference reflects its strong commitment to academic innovation, regional collaboration, and preparing graduates for a rapidly evolving, tech-driven world. The event also emphasized the importance of empowering Arab youth, strengthening institutional partnerships, and aligning higher education strategies with the future needs of the labor market.
