TIU President Receives Delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Baghdad
April 27, 2025 – Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of Tishk International University (TIU), welcomed a distinguished delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Baghdad, Iraq. The delegation was led by Mr. Abraham Franky, Acting Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia.
The visit aimed to discuss participation in TIU’s upcoming Spring Festival, scheduled for Tuesday, April 29, 2025, and to explore opportunities for future collaboration between TIU and Indonesian universities.
During the meeting, it was shared that a new Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Iraq has recently been appointed and will soon assume his duties in Baghdad. Plans are underway for the new ambassador to visit TIU as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between TIU and institutions in Indonesia.
Tishk International University looks forward to building a strong partnership that will foster academic exchange, joint research initiatives, and cultural engagement.
