TIU Signs Two MoUs with AUT and AMSU
Tishk International University (TIU) had the honor of welcoming Prof. Dr. Ekhleif Tarawneh, Vice President of the Board of Trustees at Aqaba Medical Sciences University, representing Aqaba University of Technology and Aqaba Medical Sciences University, on September 22, 2025.
Aqaba University of Technology is a private Jordanian institution offering programs in engineering, information technology, business, and applied sciences. It emphasizes research-oriented learning, innovation, and entrepreneurship, aiming to equip graduates with the skills to address modern scientific and industrial challenges.
Aqaba Medical Science University specializes in health-related disciplines, including medicine, pharmacy, and nursing. The university integrates advanced medical education with clinical training, preparing professionals to contribute to healthcare improvement through both practice and research.
During this distinguished visit, two significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were officially signed between TIU and the two esteemed Jordanian institutions. The agreements were endorsed by Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu-Orabi Al-Adwan, President of TIU, and Prof. Dr. Ekhleif Tarawneh, marking a new chapter of academic collaboration and partnership. Among the key participants was Dr. Ahmad Battah, President of the Jordanian Academics Association, and the Deans of different faculties at TIU, whose presence highlighted the importance of fostering stronger ties between academic communities in the region.
The signing ceremony was graced by Asst. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Saleh, Head of the Board of Trustees at TIU, alongside senior university officials. The event highlighted the commitment of all parties to fostering mutual cooperation in education, research, and academic development.
The guest toured TIU’s facilities and praised the modern infrastructure, advanced laboratories, and high-quality academic programs.
