With the aim of upgrading the university internationalization process including signing new MoUs, renewing the ex MoUs and implimenting student exchange program, a delegation from Tishk Internaitonal University represented by Dr. Jaafer Hussein, Director of International Relations Office and Dr. Dara Abdulla, Head of Nursing Dept./ Faculty of Nursing/ Tishk Internaitonal Unvierstiy and representative of International Relations Office at the faculty of Nursing visits Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil on August 20th 2022 at 10:00 AM Erbil Time.
The Delegation from TIU welcomed by Mr. Zahra Wand, Deputy Consul General, and Mr. Sayd Malik Hashimi/ Cultural Attache at Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil.
The representatives of Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran are delighted to enhance the bilateral academic relations between universities in Islamic Republic of Iran and TIU. For this purpose, the consulate confirms and reassures the TIU delegation to authorise and encourage the Iranian universities to sign MoUs and renew the ex MoUs with TIU.
The consulate welcomes the idea to facilitate in issuing student type visa for the TIU students those who participate in student exchange program with universities in Islamic Republic of Iran
To conclude, both particies agrees on the importance of the university internationalization and cooperation among universities in Islamic Republic of Iran in terrms of academic activities and student exchange program, thus, the Tishk Internaitonal University needs to approach the consulate through the deplomatic channel, then the consulate take the necessary measures with potential university partners in Islamic Republic of Iran.
