Key Visit to Al-Hussein Technical University
On December 29, 2024, Assistant Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President, visited Al-Hussein Technical University (HTU) in Amman, Jordan. They were warmly received by Prof. Ismael Al Hinti, HTU’s President, alongside the Vice President and Deans of the University.
Al-Hussein Technical University (HTU) is a non-profit institution focused on practical, market-driven education in STEM fields. It partners with industry to provide students with advanced skills through hands-on learning and innovative programs.The education provided by HTU is centered around the four academic fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
The distinguished guests toured HTU’s state-of-the-art laboratories and cutting-edge facilities, gaining insight into the university’s advanced infrastructure. The visit concluded in the exchange of university logos and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), paving the way for future collaboration.
The MoU sets the stage for the bilateral exchange of teaching staff and students, sharing of academic materials and publications, and joint efforts in grant applications. It also includes plans for international forums, symposiums, workshops, conferences, and collaborative sports and cultural events, enhancing academic and cultural ties between the institutions.
