The president for Tishk International University Dr.Idris Hadi Salih Visited Jagiellonian University in Poland with the Director of International Relation Office Prof. Dr.Ahmet Oztas On 29 April
Tishk International University (TIU) has signed a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jagiellonian University
They welcomed by the president of Jagiellonian University Prof. Wojciech Nowak, JU Rector’s Proxy for Internationalisation Prof. Adam Jelonek, Dr hab. Marta Najda-Janoszka (Faculty of Management and Social Communication), Dr. Karolina Rak (Institute of Far and the Middle East), Dr. Joanna Boheńska (Faculty of Philology), Dr hab. Paweł Laidler (Faculty of International and Political Studies), and Adriana Hołub-Palonka (International Relations Office)
The agreement with the Poland university will include exchange of students, exchange of research materials, publications and information, joint conferences and academic programmes, joint degree programmes, joint research activities and publications as well as the exchange of academic and non-academic staff members. The participants of the meeting discussed various aspect of future cooperation, such as further development of Kurdish studies and establishing double degree programmes in the areas of pharmacy, political science, and international relations.
Both presidents directed their relation offices to initiate exchange programs of knowledge and information as well as the creation of opportunities for further mutual approaches in order to promote academic, cultural, and scientific correlations.
In the end, Dr.Idris Hadi gives a plaque of appreciation to Jagiellonian University president Prof. Wojciech Nowak and thanked him for his hostility.
