Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş, Director of International Relations Office, and Mr. Mohammed Ghafoor Khoshnaw, Member of Board of Trustees visited one of the top universities in the USA, which is George Mason University, on October 01, 2019.
Dr. Ahmet Öztaş and Mr. Mohammed had a fruitful meeting with the president Scholar in Global Engineering Dr. Hans Hoyer and they also held a serious meeting with the Dean of Engineering, Dr. Kenneth Ball, Professors, department chair of civil, environmental, and infrastructure Engineering Dr. Sam Salem. Dr. Ahmet joined the Director of International Enrollment Partnerships Dr. Matt Sacco in his last meeting sessions.
Tishk International University (TIU), has signed a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the George Mason University which will be a start and for all of the students who have the dreams of studying bachelor program in one of the best universities in the USA. Staff and student exchange programs between the universities present a great opportunity to experience a new medium of education in a modern country.
In the meeting Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş presented a brief introduction about Tishk International University, both parties directed their relation offices to initiate exchange programs of knowledge and information as well as the creation of opportunities for further mutual approaches to promote academic, cultural, and scientific collaboration.
