Strategic Visit Strengthens Academic Ties Between TIU and Jordanian Universities

On December 29, 2024, Assistant Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President, visited Amman Arab University (AAU) in Amman, Jordan. They were warmly welcomed by Professor Mohammad Al-Widyan, AAU’s President, and key university officials.

Founded in 1997, Amman Arab University is a private, non-profit institution specializing in postgraduate studies. It was established as Jordan’s first university focused on master’s and doctoral programs. The university has consistently provided highly qualified graduates, benefiting from a faculty of distinguished experts with advanced degrees from top universities worldwide.

During the visit, both institutions exchanged insights about their academic offerings, followed by the exchange of university logos. Given the alignment of faculties between the two universities, both sides agreed to formalize their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in next April. This partnership will facilitate joint academic projects and initiatives in the near future.
