The Chairman of the Board of Trustees- Tishk International University visited University of Sharjah (UOS)in United Arab Emirates.
With the aim of expanding and building the academic and scientific relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, the Chairman of Board of Trustees- Tishk International University (TIU) visited University of Sharjah in United Arab Emirates on June 1st 2023. He has been welcomed by the Chancellor of the university Prof. Dr. Hamid M. K. Al Naimiy.
The University of Sharjah was established in 1997 with the aim and vision to contribute to the qualities shared by renowned universities around the world. The education and research programs they offer tend to be comprehensive and multi-disciplinary.
UoS has 14 colleges and offers 122 programs across multiple academic disciplines. Courses are offered in a variety of fields ranging from Sharia and Law to Health Sciences, Medicine, Fine Arts and Design, Engineering, and Communication. We also offer a wide range of degree programs at the diploma, BSc/BA, MSc/MA, and Ph.D. Levels as well as the Executive MBA (EMBA) program.
In response to cooperation in education and research areas of mutual interest, and encouraging direct contact and cooperation between faculty members, departments, research institutions, and students, both universities (TIU and University of Sharjah) have signed an MoU on June 1st 2023.
In the meeting, they present their universities, and major achievements in terms of both quantity, quality, accreditation and international ranking of the university along with academic program review in a way to be suitable with market needs. The mechanism of the MoU implementation and different areas of collaboration are also discussed.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees extended his gratefulness for the host university’s warm reception and the cooperation with TIU along with shading a light on the local and international achievements secured of the host university in general and in international ranking in particular.
