The Chairman of the Board of Trustees- Tishk International University visits Philadelphia University
With the aim of strengthening the academic and scientific ties, Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tishk International University (TIU) accompanied by Dr. Sultan Tawfiq Talab Abuorabi Al Adwan, the ex-secretary general of Association of Arab Universities and the member of Board of Trustees- TIU visited Philadelphia University on 29th December 2022. They have been welcomed by the president of the university Prof. Dr. Moataz Al-Sheikh Salem, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Qassem Al-Obeidi, Dr. Yazan Batayneh, and Dr. Fadwa Halaiqa of Philadelphia University
In response to the relationship between both universities, the president emphasized the participatory relationship that binds the two universities in various scientific fields. Sheikh Salem explained that Philadelphia University is always seeking to activate the memorandum of understanding signed with Tishk University. And that Philadelphia University has held several international scientific workshops and conferences at Erbil University in 2022.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tishk International University praised the progress achieved by Philadelphia University in the international rankings and the academic reputation. He stressed that Tishk University is keen to continue activating the memorandum of understanding through the exchange of students and faculty members and cooperation between the two universities in organizing various workshops, seminars, and conferences. And that student and academic exchange will begin in the second semester of the current academic year. As this cooperation contributes to the exchange of experiences and increases students’ skills to work in the global market.
