Tishk International University and the University of Mosul signed an MoU

Prof. Dr. Jaafer Hussein, Director of the International Relations Office; and Mr. Barham H. Ali, the Head of the Civil Engineering Dept. meets the University of Mosul represented by Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamaladdin Al- Ahmedy, the Rector of the University; Prof Dr. Munir S. Taha Al- Badrani, the Vice President for the Scientific Affairs; Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, the Dean of the Faculty of Science; Prof. Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jasim, the Dean of the College of Engineering; Assistant Professor Dr. Zina Abdel Moneim Abdel Majid, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy; Prof. Dr. Qays Ismail Ibrahim the Dean of College of Education for Pure Sciences; Asst. Prof. Dr. Rawa Putros Polos, the Director of Scholarships and Cultural Relations; Mr. Mohammed Fadil Abdulla, Director of Media and Public Relations; Mr. FAris Hazzaa Ismail, Head of the Advertising Dept. ; and Mr. Mohammed Abdulilah Ramadan, Responsible for Following up on 11th of January 2023, at 01:00 PM  in Erbil, TIU campus.

The University of Mosul Established in 1967, the University of Mosul has 23 colleges, 6 centers, and 6 consultant bureaus. It has 5 hospitals and clinics, 6 museums, and a number of other technical and administrative units and directorates. It has 4281 academicians: 196 Professors; 1014 Assistant Professors; 1261 Lecturers; 1810 Assistant Lecturers. This university accommodates more than 30000 undergraduate and 794 postgraduate students.

With the aim of cooperation in education and research areas of mutual interest, and encouraging direct contact and cooperation between faculty members, departments, research institutions, and students, both universities (TIU and University of the University of Mosul) signed an MoU on 11th of January 2023.

In the meeting, the key officials at both universities present their university, and major achievements in terms of both quantity and quality to each other. The mechanism of the MoU implementation and different areas of collaboration are also discussed.

To conclude both parties confirmed the importance of having opportunities for further mutual approaches to promote academic, cultural, and scientific collaboration in the future.
