Tishk International University and Vistula University Renew MoU

Today, February 27th, 2024, Tishk International University, represented by esteemed leaders including Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of TIU, and a delegation from Vistula University, led by Prof. Dr. Wawrzyniec Konarski, Rector of Vistula University, convened virtually to reaffirm their commitment to collaboration through the renewal of their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The primary agenda of the online meeting was to discuss and solidify the ongoing partnership between Tishk International University and Vistula University. Both institutions aimed to outline their respective visions for academic excellence and delineate strategies for enhancing collaboration between the faculties.
Vistula University is a private university in Warsaw, Poland. It was established in 1992 as the University of Insurance and Banking. Vistula University offers courses in management, finance and accounting, international relations, economics, philology, journalism, graphics, architecture and computer engineering, pedagogy, history, political science, and national security. The university’s study offer comprises bachelor’s, master’s, engineering, doctoral, and MBA programs conducted in Polish and English.
In the meeting attended by TIU key officials including (Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, the president of TIU, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, the Vice President for Academic affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatih Cure, the Vice President for the Financial Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jwan J. Mohamedshareef, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jaafer Hussein, the Director of International Relations Office (IRO), Mr. Karwan H. Sherwani, the Acting Dean of the Faculty of the Administrative Sciences and Economics and Dr. Rand Basil Alhashimie, IRO representative at the Faculty of Engineering and the moderator of this event) and Vistula key officials (including Prof. Dr. Wawrzyniec Konarski, Rector of Vistula University, Prof. Dr. Piotr Borowski, Vice-Rector for Science and Mr. Jasurbek Babaev, Head of the Erasmus Office), both institutions marked a significant milestone in their collaborative journey. Through the exchange of ideas and the renewal of their partnership agreement, both institutions reaffirmed their dedication to academic excellence, international cooperation, and the pursuit of knowledge.
