According to the most recent edition of the World University Rankings in August 2022, Tishk International University is ranked FIRST among private universities in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. TIU has also been ranked third among the public universities in the Kurdistan Region and 16th among all universities in Iraq. Globally, TIU ranks 3333, compared to 3934 in the January edition of the World University Rankings. Additionally, according to the latest Webometrics TRANSPARENT RANKING: Top Universities by Citations in Top Google Scholar profiles – August 2022, Tishk International University is ranked FIRST among the private universities in the KRG, 5th among the public and private universities in the KRG, and 21st among all Iraqi universities.
