Tishk International University signed an MoU with SRM University

Tishk International University (TIU) represented by Prof. Dr. Abdul Samad Salahuddin Ahmad, the president of TIU, Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, vice president for academic affairs, Dr. Ezideen A Hasso, the Head of Mechatronic Dept., Dr. Jaafer Hussein, Director of International Relations Office, and Dr. Rand B. Alhashimie, the IRO representative of the Faculty of Engineering, and Organizer of this event meets SRM university, India represented by Dr. S Ponnusamy, the Registrar, Dr. G Murali, the Head Mechatronic dept., Dr. Kartar Singh, Director of International Relations and Dr. T Muthuramalingam, Department of IR Coordinator, Department of Mechatronic Engineering virtually on 23 rd  of January 2023, at 09:00 Erbil time.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology, formerly SRM University, is a private higher education institute deemed to be university, located in Kattankulathur, Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu, India. Founded in 1985 as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur, it gained the deemed status in 2002

SRM Institute of Science and Technology  is one of the top ranking universities in India with over 52,000 full time students and more than 3200 faculty across all the campuses – Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani Campus – all in and around Chennai, Tiruchirappalli (in TN), Modinagar (in UP) & Sonepat (in Haryana) – both of which are located near Delhi NCR, Amaravati (in AP), Gangtok (in Sikkim) – offering a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in six Faculties – Engineering & Technology, Management, Medicine & Health sciences, Science & Humanities, Law and Agricultural Sciences.

With the aim of cooperation in education and research areas of mutual interest, and encouraging direct contact and cooperation between faculty members, departments, research institutions and students, both universities (TIU and SRM) have signed an MoU on 23rd of January 2023, at 09:30 Erbil Time.

In the meeting the key officials at both universities presents their university, and major achievements in terms of both quantity and quality to each other. The mechanism of the MoU implementation and different areas of collaboration are also discussed.

To conclude both parties confirmed the importance of having opportunities for further mutual approaches to promote academic, cultural and scientific collaboration in the future.
