Tishk International University and the University of Jordan Signed an MoU

In a significant development today December 27th 2023, the University of Jordan (UJ) and Tishk International University (TIU) formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a comprehensive framework for collaborative efforts in academic and cultural domains of shared interest.

The MoU, undersigned by Prof. Dr. Nathir Obeidat, President of the University of Jordan, and Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of Tishk International University, outlines the strategic development of cooperation between the two institutions across diverse academic disciplines. The outlined areas of collaboration encompass the reciprocal exchange of faculty members and students, the establishment of joint academic programs, the facilitation of seminars and conferences, the exchange of scholarly publications and academic information, as well as active participation in externally funded academic and research initiatives. The momentous meeting and signing ceremony were graced by the presence of key dignitaries, including Professor Dr. Nahed Emaish, Vice President for International Relations and Partnerships Affairs, and Dr. Sameh Alzubiedi, the Director of the International Affairs Unit

Prior to endorsing the memorandum, Prof. Dr. Obeidat, expressed the University of Jordan’s earnest enthusiasm for fostering robust relationships and partnerships with academic institutions in Iraq. He warmly welcomed the prospect of jointly undertaking academic and research initiatives.

Equally, Prof. Dr. Abu-Orabi underscored the commitment of Tishk International University to cultivating collaborative ties with the University of Jordan. He emphasized the university’s dedication to contributing to the advancement of scientific research and fostering enhanced cooperation with both Arab and international universities.
