Tishk International University and University of Mataram Explore Collaborative Opportunities
A virtual meeting was held on January 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM Iraqi time between representatives of Tishk International University (Iraq) and the University of Mataram (Indonesia) to discuss potential academic collaborations. The discussions focused on initiatives such as online credit transfer programs, joint and double degree programs, and collaborative research opportunities.
The University of Mataram was represented by Prof. Farid Hemon, Vice Director of Postgraduate Studies; Dr. Rini S. Saptaningtyas, Head of the Architecture Study Program; I Made Sujana, MA, Coordinator for Curriculum and Learning Innovation; Ahmad Junaidi, Ph.D, Coordinator of International Learning; Ariyan Zubaidi, M.T, Representative of the Informatics Engineering Department; and Rini Ridhawati, M.S.A., Ak, Representative of the Accounting Study Program.
Delegates from Tishk International University included Asst. Prof. Dr. Jwan Jalal, Dean of the Engineering Faculty; Asst. Prof. Dr. Jaafer Hussein, Director of International Relations; Dr. Safwan Mawlood, Vice-Dean of the Engineering Faculty; Dr. Ezideen Hasso, Head of the Mechatronics Engineering Department; Dr. Rand Basil, Engineering Lecturer and International Relations Office (IRO) Representative; Mr. Musa Ameen, Head of the Computer Engineering Department; and Ms. Shino Abdullah, Head of the Architecture Engineering Department.
This meeting represents a significant step towards fostering international academic partnerships and strengthening ties between the two institutions.
