TIU hosts a University of Dundee

Today 29th January 2024, Tishk International University (TIU) represented by Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, the Head of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu-Orabi, the President, Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fatih Cura, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, prof. Hussain, the Dean of Applied Science, Dr. Jafar Naghshbandi ,the  Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Alisher Babakulliev, the Vice Dean of the faculty of Dentistry and Dr. Tola Faraj, the Head of Medical Analysis Dept. hosts an official delegation from University of Dundee, Scotland, UK represented by Prof. Iain Gillespie, the Principle and Vice- Chancellor and Mr. Jason Norris, the Director of Global Partnerships

The University of Dundee[a] is a public research university based in Dundee, Scotland. It was founded as a university college in 1881 with a donation from the prominent Baxter family of textile manufacturers. The institution was, for most of its early existence, a constituent college of the University of St Andrews alongside United College and St Mary’s College located in the town of St Andrews itself. Following significant expansion, the University of Dundee gained independent university status by royal charter in 1967 while retaining elements of its ancient heritage and governance structure.

During the meeting, they discussed about working together on academic projects, joint events, and sharing students and staff. They discussed how these collaborations could benefit them strategically and create opportunities for mutual success. The emphasis was on building an environment that supports learning and progress through these collaborative efforts.
