TIU Hosts an Academic Delegation from Libya and Yemen
On November 5th, 2024, Tishk International University (TIU) hosted leaders from four universities in Libya and Yemen to strengthen bilateral scientific collaboration and academic ties.
The visiting delegation included Prof. Dr. Mohammed A. I. Daqali, President of the University of Zintan (Libya); Prof. Dr. Mohammad M. Said Alshuaibi, President of Taiz University and Head of the Board of Trustees of Gulf of Aden International Universities (Yemen); and Prof. Dr. Riyad Ahmad AL-Oqab, Head of the Board of Trustees at Alrowad University (Yemen).
TIU was represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees; Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of TIU; Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Academic Vice President; Asst. Prof. Dr. Wasfi Kahwachi, Director of the Research Center; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Jaafer Hussein, Director of the International Relations Office.
The visit included presentations, academic discussions, a university tour, and a gift exchange. It concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between TIU and each of the visiting institutions separately, aimed at enhancing future collaboration.
