Tishk International University Hosts Delegation from Jerash University, Jordan
Tishk International University (TIU) proudly welcomed a delegation from Jerash University, Jordan, led by Prof. Dr. Ahmed M. M. Al-Hawamdeh, Vice President of Jerash University on September 21st, 2025.
Jerash University was established in 1993 and comprises 12 faculties offering 23 undergraduate and 9 graduate programs, primarily taught in Arabic. It is uniquely recognized as the only private university in Jordan to provide a degree in agricultural sciences. The university is dedicated to supporting disadvantaged and first-generation students while fostering entrepreneurship through its innovative incubator. Additionally, Jerash University actively pursues international collaborations, notably with Malaysian institutions, to enhance global engagement and research.
During the visit, an important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu-Orabi Al-Adwan, President of TIU, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed M. M. Al-Hawamdeh. The ceremony was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Saleh, Head of the Board of Trustees at TIU, along with the university’s deans.
The delegation was given a tour of the university’s faculties and expressed great admiration for the infrastructure and academic programs—particularly in the Faculties of Dentistry and Pharmacy, as well as the other departments across the institution.
This partnership marks a significant step towards strengthening academic ties and promoting collaborative opportunities between the two institutions.
