TIU hosts JICA
on Sunday, February 11th, 2024, Tishk International University (TIU) represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Jaafer Hussein, the Director of the International Relations Office (IRO) and Asst. Prof. Dr Wasfi Kahwachi, the Director of the Research Center hosts a delegation from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) represented by Mr. Kozo Ono, Project Formulation Advisor at JICA, Mr. Amozhgar M. Hawezy, the senior program manager at JAICA and Mr. Tako Kinouchi, the General manager of Kyoto Kagahu
In the meeting, the representative of the TIU presented a promo video and presentation in which the visitor was acquainted with the details and quality road of TIU. likewise, the representative of JICA briefed their projects and services rendered in the Kurdistan Region. Besides, the representative of the company briefed Simulator ultrasound-related information used by medical faculties and departments.
The Japan International Cooperation (JICA) is a governmental agency that delivers the bulk of Official Development Assistance (ODA) for the government of Japan. It is chartered with assisting economic and social growth in developing countries and promoting international cooperation.
The delegation was guided by the TIU representatives namely Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul Samad Salahuddin Ahmad, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at TIU the faculties of Nursing, Pharmacy and Dentistry
