TIU hosts Students from Yemen and Palestine
Tishk International University (TIU) proudly reaffirms its commitment to regional academic collaboration by welcoming visiting students as part of the Summer Training Opportunity with Arab World Universities 2025. This initiative supports TIU’s dedication to Quality Education and Partnerships.
As part of this important academic exchange, eight students from Yemen and Palestine Universities arrived in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq to participate in the summer training program hosted by various regional institutions, including Knowledge University, Salahaddin University- Erbil, and Tishk International University. While three of these students have been assigned to receive their training at TIU, all eight students visited TIU today July 17th 2025 for a special introductory visit.
The visiting students were warmly received by TIU’s Vice President for Academic Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir alongside university staff, who conveyed a heartfelt welcome on behalf of the TIU community. The visit included a detailed presentation outlining TIU’s academic vision, faculties, and cutting-edge campus facilities. Following the presentation, the students toured the university campus, gaining valuable insights into TIU’s innovative learning environment and modern infrastructure.
This visit underscores TIU’s ongoing role in fostering academic inclusivity, intercultural exchange, and capacity building within Arab universities.
Through such meaningful partnerships, TIU continues to champion Gender Equality, Reduced Inequalities, Innovation, and Infrastructure, strengthening educational collaborations across the Arab region.
