TIU Leaders Boost Academic Collaboration in Jordan Visit
In continuation of their academic visit, Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu-Orabi, the President of TIU (Tishk International University), undertook an official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. During this endeavor, substantive discussions transpired with Prof. Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Dr. Mamoun Al-Debi’e, the Secretary General of the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, conducted in separate official meetings on Thursday 25th January 2024.
The bottom line of these deliberations centered around the procedural details of accrediting and recognizing TIU’s graduate certificates. Additionally, the agenda encompassed thorough considerations for the organization of an academic conference, scheduled for May in Erbil, with the aim of cultivating collaboration between Jordanian universities and their academic counterparts in the Kurdistan Region. This official academic exchange underscores TIU’s commitment to advancing academic cooperation and fostering a robust educational discourse between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Tishk International University.
