TIU signed an MoU with German Jordanian University

In a bid to bolster international ties and academic collaboration, Assistant Professor Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the TIU, embarked on a visit to Jordan’s capital, Amman. Dr. Salih engaged with various educational entities as part of the TIU’s global outreach initiative.

During his trip, Dr. Salih notably visited the German Jordanian University (GJU), where he met with Assistant Prof. Dr. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, GJU’s President. Their discussions centered around fostering bilateral relations and exploring academic opportunities between the TIU and GJU.

The (GJU) is a public university located in Mushaqar. It was founded in 2005 by a Royal Decree, in accordance with a memorandum of understanding reached between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of the Federal Republic of Germany.

As a significant step towards future collaboration, both institutions inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 12th, 2023. The MoU aims to establish a collaborative framework, facilitating the exchange of initiatives and operational practices between the TIU and GJU. This partnership seeks to harness each other’s strengths and support joint endeavors, envisioning a fruitful alliance in the educational domain.
