Tishk International University Strengthens Ties with Qatar During Official Visit
On November 27, 2024, Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu- Orabi, President of Tishk International University (TIU), visited Qatar to engage in discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation between TIU and Qatar’s educational sector. During the visit, Prof. Dr. Abu -Orabi met with Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Naimi, Deputy of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar, to explore new avenues for academic collaboration.
The meeting centered on several key topics, including the recognition of Tishk International University in Qatar and the university’s certificate offerings. The two leaders also discussed the diverse academic programs and colleges at TIU, emphasizing the potential for mutual growth and development in higher education.
As a token of appreciation for his ongoing support of higher education, Prof. Dr. Abu- Orabi presented Prof. Dr. Ibrahim with the official logo of Tishk International University. It is noteworthy that Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Naimi previously served as the president of Qatar University, highlighting his long-standing contribution to the academic landscape.
