Three students from Mechatronic Engineering/ Faculty of Engineering applied for summer school programs for the summer 2022.

Two students (Muhammed Dalshad Faez & Mustafa Khalis Bilal) at Mechatronic Engineering have been accepted for the period of August 8th to August 19th 2022, at TU Freiberg University, Germany.

 

Students Mohammed Dilshad and Mustafa Khalis from the Faculty of Engineering’s Department of Mechatronics Engineering spent 12 days in Germany doing a summer course.

The Additive Manufacturing in Engineering Application course is taught at Freiberg University of Mining and Technology. In addition, DAAD provided funding for TIU students, and the program ran from August 8-19, 2022. Along with lectures, students in this summer course had the opportunity to visit automobile design and production labs and centers.

Mohammed Dilshad mentioned that he got many benefits from the additive manufacturing course. He also talked about their scientific trips, such as visiting Dresden’s Volkswagen car manufacturing company and the ACTech company in Freiberg. Finally, he said it was an excellent opportunity to communicate with others and wished every student had that chance.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is the world’s most extensive exchange program, supporting various research initiatives and short-term study abroad programs annually. Thirteen students from seven Kurdish universities, including two from TIU, received funding from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to attend a summer program this year.
