TIU President Visits Amman Arab University and Signs MoU to Strengthen Academic Cooperation 

Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of TIU, paid an official visit to Amman Arab University (AAU) in Amman, Jordan, on Monday, March 9, 2026. Upon arrival, he was warmly received by Prof. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, together with a number of senior academic and administrative officials.

During the visit, both sides held constructive discussions on prospects for strengthening academic and scientific cooperation, including collaborative research initiatives, academic exchange, and institutional partnership. The meeting concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing collaboration between the two universities.

Established in 1997, Amman Arab University is a private, non-profit institution that was originally founded as Amman Arab University for Graduate Studies, specializing in master’s and doctoral programs. The university began its academic activities in the 1999/2000 academic year and later expanded in 2009 to offer bachelor’s degree programs, adopting its current name. Today, AAU comprises ten colleges and a technical college, in addition to several scientific centers, and is committed to promoting quality education, research excellence, innovation, and community engagement.

This visit reflects TIU’s ongoing commitment to expanding its international partnerships and fostering meaningful academic collaboration with leading institutions at both regional and global levels.
