Tishk International University and Amman Arab University Sign Memorandum of Understanding
Tishk International University (TIU) hosted the President of Amman Arab University on December 17, 2025, marking a significant step toward strengthening regional and international academic cooperation. The visit culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions, aimed at fostering long-term collaboration in education and research.
The meeting commenced with a welcoming address by Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of Tishk International University, who emphasized TIU’s commitment to building sustainable academic partnerships and enhancing institutional collaboration. This was followed by a comprehensive presentation introducing Tishk International University, its academic vision, and strategic priorities. Subsequently, Professor Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, presented an overview of his university, highlighting its academic achievements and areas of excellence.
The meeting was attended by distinguished representatives from Tishk International University, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Academic Vice President; Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatih Cura, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs; Prof. Dr. Bayan Salim, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Dr. Hiwa Banna, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; Prof. Dr. Rozhan Dizayee, Dean of the Faculty of Law; Asst. Prof. Dr. Dogan Ozdemir, Dean of the Faculty of Education; Prof. Karwan Sherwani, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics; and Mr. Dana Shamsaddin, Director of the International Relations Office.
Following the discussions, the Memorandum of Understanding was formally signed by Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan. The agreement covers key areas of cooperation, including student and staff exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and the organization of joint academic events such as conferences, workshops, and seminars.
This partnership reflects TIU’s ongoing efforts to expand its international network and promote academic excellence through strategic collaborations with reputable institutions worldwide.
