Tishk International University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Quantum University, India

Tishk International University (TIU) successfully held a virtual signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Quantum University, Roorkee, India, on May 6, 2026, marking a significant step toward strengthening international academic collaboration.

Quantum University, Roorkee, is a multidisciplinary private institution integrating engineering, business, and applied sciences. It is known for its innovative, industry-oriented and interdisciplinary education approach.

The event commenced with a welcoming address by Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of TIU, who emphasized the university’s ongoing commitment to expanding its global partnerships and fostering academic excellence through international cooperation.

The program featured institutional presentations from both universities. Prof. Dr. Abu-Orabi delivered a comprehensive overview of TIU, highlighting its academic achievements, research initiatives, and strategic vision. This was followed by a presentation from representatives of Quantum University, showcasing their academic structure and areas of expertise.

The official signing of the MoU took place during the ceremony, symbolizing a shared commitment to collaboration in areas such as academic exchange, joint research, and capacity building.

The ceremony brought together distinguished representatives from both universities. TIU was represented by senior leadership, including the Academic Vice President, deans of key faculties, the Director of the AI Center, and the Director of International Relations. Quantum University was represented by its Registrar, Dean of Academics, and directors of various schools and quality assurance units.

This partnership reflects TIU’s strategic vision to enhance its international presence and create new opportunities for students, faculty, and researchers through global engagement.
