Tishk International University Delegation Visits the Consulate General of Poland in Erbil
On May 13th May 2026, a delegation from Tishk International University, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees, and Mr. Dana Shamsaddin, Director of the International Relations Office, paid an official visit to the Consulate General of Poland in Erbil.
The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Maciej Zajdel, Deputy Consul General of Poland in Erbil, where both sides engaged in productive discussions on strengthening academic cooperation and expanding international partnerships between higher education institutions in the Kurdistan Region and Poland.
During the meeting, Assistant Professor Dr. Idris Hadi Salih highlighted the existing collaborations between Tishk International University and several universities in Poland. He emphasized the university’s commitment to further strengthening these academic ties through the establishment of new partnerships and the expansion of its collaborative network with additional Polish universities.
In turn, the Deputy Consul General expressed his readiness to support and facilitate the ongoing cooperation, particularly in matters related to the visa application process and academic exchange initiatives.
The visit reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to promote internationalization, academic exchange, and global cooperation in higher education.
