Tishk International University Hosts Announcement Session on Cybersecurity Capacity Development Bootcamp Opportunity

The International Relations Office (IRO) at Tishk International University organized an informative announcement session today on April 23, 2026 to introduce an exciting international opportunity titled “Cybersecurity Capacity Development Bootcamp”, which will take place in Madrid, Spain. The program is scheduled to begin on June 8, 2026, and will run for a total duration of six months, including one month of in-person training in Madrid followed by five months of online learning.

The opportunity is open to both students and staff members, with a maximum of 10 participants to be selected from the university.

The session was attended by Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Academic Vice President; Dr. Halal Abdulrahman, Head of the Cybersecurity Department; Ms. Hala Najwa, Head of the Information Technology Department; and Mr. Dana Shamsaddin, Director of the International Relations Office. A number of interested students from both the Cybersecurity and Information Technology departments also participated.

During the session, attendees were thoroughly informed about the structure of the bootcamp, its objectives, and the application procedures. Detailed explanations were provided regarding the program’s content, participation requirements, and expected outcomes.

Students were encouraged to visit the International Relations Office for further guidance on the application process and to address any questions they may have.
