Tishk International University Student Meets University of Jordan Pharmacy Dean

Tishk International University is pleased to announce the participation of Pazhara Rasul, a student from the College of Pharmacy, in the Arab Student Exchange Program hosted by the University of Jordan from August 2 to August 28, 2026.

As part of the program, Pazhara Rasul joined students from universities across the Arab region in a range of academic and professional activities. On Sunday, August 9, 2026, the participating students visited the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Jordan, where they were warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Rula Medhat Darwish, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, in the presence of faculty leadership and academic representatives.

During the meeting, the Dean expressed her appreciation for the participation of students from sister Arab countries, highlighting the importance of student exchange initiatives in promoting academic and professional knowledge, developing practical and interpersonal skills, and broadening students’ perspectives through meaningful international experiences.

As part of the program, the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Jodan prepared a structured training program for the participating students under the supervision of Dr. Dareen Rahahleh, Clinical Trainer. The program provides students with an opportunity to gain practical experience, engage in a different academic environment, and benefit from interaction with faculty members and fellow students.

For Tishk International University, Pazhara Rasul’s participation represents an important opportunity to strengthen academic exchange and international collaboration while allowing our students to represent the university and the Kurdistan Region in a broader Arab academic community.

The university continues to encourage its students to take part in international academic and training opportunities that contribute to their professional development, cultural understanding, and personal growth.
