The students Omar Falah Saleem, Ahmed Mahmood Hama Saeed and Ramyar Saleem Rasul Aghader from Tishk International University, Erbil (formerly Tishk International University) appreciate the chance to study at TU Bergakademie Freiberg for one semester. Three students from the business and management department (Omar Falah, Ramyar Saleem and Ahmed Mahmood ) got the acceptance for the student exchange program. They are the first group from the business and management department to visit TU Bergakademie Freiberg University in Germany. The exchange program is in collaboration of the international relations office of TIU, TU Bergakademie Freiberg and the Erasmus plus project. The students will start with a five-month German A1 language course and after that they will proceed to start with their studies in the university in beginning of April 2019.

  International Relations Office (IRO) organized a workshop in collaboration of representative of Freiberg University Dr. Abdulqader Qadw on February 14, 2019. “Renewable Energy Utilization” was the title of the workshop which have been held in the faculty of engineering at Tishk International University. Prof. Dr. ING Habil Gerd Walter faculty member in the Freiberg University, Germany was the presenter of the workshop.   On February 14th, 2019, the Consul General for the U.S. Consulate in Basrah, Mr. Timmy Davis, and the Political Affairs Officer of the consulate visited Tishk International University (TIU). The visitors were warmly welcomed by the President of the University, Dr Idris Hadi Head Of Board Of Trustees, and the staff of the International Relations Office.
