    Following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between TIU and the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, five students participated in summer school which is organized by the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Partner University. The program was for two weeks on 20th August. In which the students were exposed to new technologies in civil engineering, mega structures and constructions and expanding their academic and cultural networks.

UIW welcomes students to participate in the UIW Exchange program for the 2022-2023 academic year and invite TIU to nominate its exchange students for a semester or year at UIW. The deadline to nominate TIU students for the Spring 2023 semester is September 30th, 2022. To read more on the nomination and application process, kindly refer to UIW website. Three students from Mechatronic Engineering/ Faculty of Engineering applied for summer school programs for the summer 2022. Two students (Muhammed Dalshad Faez & Mustafa Khalis Bilal) at Mechatronic Engineering have been accepted for the period of August 8th to August 19th 2022, at TU Freiberg University, Germany.   Students Mohammed Dilshad and Mustafa Khalis from the Faculty of Engineering's Department of Mechatronics Engineering spent 12 days in Germany doing a summer course. According to the most recent edition of the World University Rankings in August 2022, Tishk International University is ranked FIRST among private universities in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. TIU has also been ranked third among the public universities in the Kurdistan Region and 16th among all universities in Iraq.
