A senior delegation (Dr. Abdul Samad Salahuddin Ahmad, the president of TIU and Dr. Jaafer Hussein, the Director of International Relations) from Tishk International University is visiting Jordan from October 24th to 28th, 2022. They are participating in 1st Int. Conf. for Science and Pharmacy” to be held at Mu’tah University between October 26 – 28th, 2022.
Part of the delegation’s hectic schedule in Jordan, and with the aim of expanding and building the academic and scientific relations, the delegation visited the Hashemite University on October 27th 2022. They have been received by the president of the university Prof. Dr. Fawwaz M. Al- Abed Al- Haq.
The Hashemite University often abbreviated HU, is a public university in Jordan. It was established in 1995. The university is located in the vicinity of the city of Zarqa. As regards to the study systems, it applies the credit hour system. Each college has its own number of credit hours. It is the first university in Jordan to apply the Two-Summer-Semester system The Hashemite University offers a variety of different master programs. It also offers an international admission program which allows non-Jordanian students to enroll at the university.
With the presence of Dr. Sultan Tawfiq Talab Abuorabi Al Adwan, the ex-secretary general of Association of Arab Universities, Dr. Jaafer Hussein, the Director of International Relations/ TIU and Prof. Dr. Abed AlElah AlZboon, the Director of Public and Cultural Relations/ HU), the presidents of both universities signed an MoU on October 27th 2022.
In the meeting the key officials at both universities (through a promotion video and presentation) presents their university, and major achievements in terms of both quantity and quality to each other. The mechanism of the MoU implementation and different areas of collaboration are also discussed.
